The purpose of Financial Services is to provide accurate information and timely accounting services, which include cashiering, payroll, payables, receivables, and financial reporting for students, employees, the community and business agencies.

LocationsTo request a tuition fee refund, you must officially withdraw from a class by submitting a Course Drop Request (for degree seeking or special credit programs) or Request for Refund form (if registered for a continuing education course).

BankMobileThe Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of student records and assures students have access rights to their own educational records. Once a student enrolls in a college or university, regardless of the student’s age, FERPA rights transfer from the parent(s) or guardian(s) to the student. Therefore, the student must authorize the release of any information from his or her educational record to any other parties outside of the educational institution, including any family members.
FERPA Consent Form1098T is the form that you need to file your taxes. This form is mailed by January 31st each year. You can also consent to get it electronically on our My Forsyth tech student portal. Please note, if you consent to get it electronically, you will not get a mailed copy.
To electronically consent, access My Forsyth Tech student portal through Techlink and select Tax Information, selectin 1098T at top selecting the button that says electronically consent. Your 1098T should appear on the screen if pop-up blockers are turned off.
In need of a reprint of a previous years 1089T and cannot access Techlink? Please call the business office at 336.734.7210. When ready, pick up must be completed with a photo ID.
Please note we cannot email or fax 1098T forms because of FERPA regulations.
