To begin your journey at Forsyth Tech and pursue a degree, diploma or certificate, start by completing the NC Residency Determination forms. Once you have your Residency Certification Number, you can proceed with your Forsyth Tech application.

Earn College Credit in High School
High school juniors and seniors who meet state eligibility requirements can take advantage of the Career & College Promise program, also known as dual enrollment, to earn tuition-free college credits.

Enroll as a Visiting Student
If you wish to take classes without pursuing a degree, diploma or certificate, please fill out our application form as a special credit student. While official transcripts are not required, if there are any course prerequisites, you must provide at least an unofficial copy of your college transcript for registration. Please note that special credit students are not eligible for financial aid.

To ensure timely processing of your I-20 approval, please submit all required information by the following application deadlines:
- Fall Semester Entry (August): May 1 for international students, July 1 for students transferring from a U.S. school.
- Spring Semester Entry (January): September 1 for international students, October 1 for students transferring from a U.S. school.
