Accreditation
The Health Information Technology Program accreditor of Forsyth Tech Community College is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for the Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Management has been reaffirmed through 2028-2029 Accreditation Cycle. 100% of HIT graduates responding to the graduate survey were employed full-time in the health information field within one year of graduation.
100% of HIT graduates responding to the graduate survey said that they were satisfied with the Health Information Technology program.
25% of HIT graduates graduated on or before the expected graduation date for the year 2022.
*Students must graduate/complete the HIT Program within four academic years. Some students accepted in the Summer of 2020 are still progressing through the HIT program.
