Some courses may be canceled/rescheduled or relocated; we will always do our best to keep information up to date and inform registrants of any changes. Classes may be added mid-semester; this webpage will be updated as changes are made, so be sure to check back for any changes or class additions.

How do I register for enrichment classes?

Register online by clicking the title of the course you’re interested in, then clicking the “Register Now” button. Follow the prompts to register online. If there are no sections listed, the class may already be in session for the current semester. Check back for the next semester, or email enrichment@forsythtech.edu to inquire.

You can also register by phone by calling 336-734-7718 (Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m, Friday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.).

Pre-registration is required for all courses; payment is due at the time of registration.

What does “additional supplies needed” mean?

Some classes may require additional supplies that are not included in the cost of the class. Instructors will go over the needed supplies during the first day of class; if you already own the supplies needed, you may not need to purchase any additional supplies.

Generally, art supplies can vary in cost depending on the type, quantity, and brand, so we cannot give an estimated cost of art supplies. If you’d like to see a suggested supply list for any class, click the “Supply List” button under a class.

The class I want to take isn’t listed.

Our course offerings can vary depending on the season, student interest, and instructor availability. If you’ve clicked the “Register Now” button for a class and there are no classes listed, then the class is likely already in session. We may have another section upcoming in a future semester, so check back often.

The course catalog will update each semester and some classes may be added mid-semester. If you’re interested in taking a class that we don’t currently offer, you are welcome to fill out our course suggestion form.

What if I can’t attend class?

If you know you are going to miss a class, it is always best to let your instructor know. If you are unable to reach your instructor, you can send an email to enrichment@forsythtech.edu and your message will be forwarded.

If you need to withdraw from a course, please call 336-734-7718 (Monday – Thursday, 8a – 6p, Friday, 8a – 5p) for assistance. Full refunds can only be offered when courses are dropped before they begin. A schedule change can be made in lieu of a refund in some circumstances.

What if a class gets cancelled?

Classes may be postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather or other events that cause a campus wide closure. If a class is postponed due to a closure, the missed class time will be made up by either extending each remaining class time, or by adding an additional day of class.

If a course is cancelled due to low enrollments, the course will either be rescheduled or cancelled, depending on instructor availability. We encourage you to invite friends or family to sign up for courses with you; sometimes one or two enrollments will make the difference of whether a course runs as scheduled or not.

Can I teach a class?

We’re always looking to add new classes to our catalog. If you have a skill or hobby that you’d love to teach others, let us know! Personal Enrichment values instructors who have real-life experience that can be taught to others; prior teaching experience is helpful, but not required. If you’d like to learn more about teaching, fill out our instructor interest form.
