The Forsyth Tech Foundation
Scholarships, emergency grants to students in crisis, purchasing up-to-date equipment for classrooms and labs, employee professional development and many other funding needs all can be made possible with your help. Gifts to the Forsyth Tech Foundation provide support for our students and the college in crucial ways that otherwise could not happen.
How You Can Help
Individuals or businesses can contribute in a variety of ways that best suit their needs.
Donate NowWays to Give
Whether it’s contributing to student support services, our emergency fund for students in crisis, equipment for a new technology lab, much-needed scholarships, or training for staff, your gift will have a meaningful impact on our community.
We offer more than 50 scholarships to new and returning students every year.
Without scholarships, many people simply do not have the financial resources to pursue higher education. Scholarships through the Forsyth Tech Foundation help ensure that financial barriers do not stand in the way of our students’ educational success.
General Scholarship gifts allow the Foundation to make awards wherever the needs are greatest. If sending a check, please make it payable to The Forsyth Tech Foundation, and let us know that your gift is for general scholarship support. If giving online, you can designate this with a note in the comment box.
Endowed Scholarships can be established with a minimum commitment of $25,000, and may be given in installments over a five-year period. These funds can be for general scholarship assistance, or support students in a particular area of study. Once fully endowed, income from the endowment provides scholarship funds.
Annual (Non-Endowed) Scholarships can be established with a minimum gift of $1,000 annually. These funds are awarded on a yearly basis and continue only as long as the donor provides annual gifts to sustain them. The impact of annual scholarships is immediate, meaning the funds are disbursed to the student in the fiscal year they are received.
For more information or guidance in establishing a scholarship, please contact Angela Cook, Director of the Foundation, at 336.734.7618 or acook@forsythtech.edu.

“Forsyth Tech has provided me with the flexibility of furthering my education while having a busy schedule and demanding life. Also, the instructors here have been more than helpful and always eager to answer any questions in detail and provide resources that were instrumental in successful outcomes at the end of the semester. ”
